Fuel Debt Advice in the Community – Webinar
COURSE FORMAT AND DURATION
We offer a variety of flexible scheduling options to make this course as accessible as possible. You can choose from fully tutor-led delivery, a hybrid model combining tutor-led sessions with self-directed study, or half-day and full-day formats. Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions are also available to suit your schedule.
Course options are as follows:
STANDARD COURSE: fully tutor-led
- Course content is delivered across three half-day webinars led by one of our expert tutors.
- A comprehensive course manual covering all relevant topics will be provided after the webinars.
- Open book assessment (up to three hours)
HYBRID COURSE: tutor-led and self-directed study
- An overview of the course content is delivered across two half-day webinars led by one of our expert tutors
- Approximately four hours of flexible, self-directed‑ learning to complete the course
- A comprehensive course manual covering all relevant topics will be provided after the webinars.
- Open book assessment (up to three hours)
SPOTLIGHT COURSE: tutor-led and self-directed study
- One half-day webinar led by one of our expert tutors introduced the core concepts of the course.
- Approximately eight hours of flexible, self-directed learning to complete the course
- A comprehensive course manual covering all relevant topics will be provided after the webinar.
- Optional tutor-led drop-in sessions available for learners who would like to ask questions or seek clarification
- Open book assessment (up to three hours)
Webinars are delivered live by our expert tutors. We keep group sizes small to ensure a good level of interaction and support for learners and a range of activities to keep everyone engaged.
We generally use Zoom (video conferencing facilities). To join the webinar, learners will require a suitable electronic device with sound and internet access and preferably a video camera and microphone.
FEES
OPEN ACCESS WEBINAR FEES – PER PERSON
*FUNDED PLACES are available to non-commercial organisations based in England and Wales (such as local authorities, housing associations, advice agencies etc). Learners must also be frontline staff or volunteers that encounter and provide advice to those in or at risk of fuel poverty. This applies to webinar delivery only.
For those not eligible for a funded place, fees are as follows:

GROUP / IN-HOUSE WEBINAR FEES – PER COURSE
Group webinars are available upon request. We can accommodate up to 14 learners per course and the dates / times can be arranged to best suit the group.
