Wednesday 26 November 2025 will be National Energy Action’s Fuel Poverty Awareness Day (FPAD). Millions of people – including children are in fuel poverty, with a growing mountain of debt putting pressure on those least able to afford it.
The energy crisis has been going on for over four years, meaning household budgets have been stretched and many are struggling in cold and unhealthy homes. Debt is at record levels. The situation is stark, with people either having to accrue debt or live in homes that will negatively impact their physical and mental health.

- Write to your elected representative to call for more support for people in fuel poverty this winter. We have a template letter.
- Help raise vital funds by taking part in the Nation’s Biggest Housewarming. 24 to 28 November
- Make a donation to support our services and receive a free keyring.
