Walk for Warmth this winter and join National Energy Action in the fight against fuel poverty.

Join us this year for National Energy Action’s Walk for Warmth on 21 February 2026! This family-fun event is dedicated to raising awareness and life-changing funds to tackle fuel poverty across the UK. Starting at NEA’s head office on Gallowgate, walking up to and through the glorious Exhibition Park and Leazes Park, rounding at St James Park, before finishing up with a hot drink and some tasty snacks at the end.

Get together with friends, family and colleagues and join TeamNEA to Walk for Warmth!

Every step we take together is a step towards providing warmth for the millions of households suffering in cold, unsafe and unhealthy homes.

We are walking together to:

  • Raise vital funds to keep people in desperate need warm in their own home
  • Raise awareness about our vital work and services
  • Showcase unity in the fight against fuel poverty
