As the national fuel poverty charity, we at National Energy Action understand the unique vulnerabilities that children and young people can face as a result of deprivation and fuel poverty, and the effect that this can have on them. We are gathering testimony and insight from children and young people, parents and caregivers and teachers and educators to identify issues that can inform both the design of our support services and our campaigns aimed at securing structural, policy-related changes.
We want to be able to better understand the implications of fuel poverty (and deprivation more widely) for children in the communities where we work. This survey is designed to help us understand what kind of need educators and teachers may have seen in relation to this, how this may be affecting children and young people, and how we as a charity could contribute to and support potential solutions.
If this is relevant to your role or experience as a teacher or educator*, please spare 5-10 minutes to share your experience with us: https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/T-FP-Impact

*Results will be anonymised and referred to as ‘feedback from schools that we have consulted’. They will not be used to identify an individual, group or institution – you can access our full privacy statement at the start of the survey.
