Big challenges require impactful partners. Our vision is to end fuel poverty, but we know we can’t do this alone.

National Energy Action (NEA) is a membership organisation whose members include local authorities, housing associations, health agencies, charities, community groups and contracted installers through energy provider schemes. By coming together and sharing our knowledge and experience, we can create better outcomes for people living in cold homes across the UK.

We offer two kinds of membership: Associate membership (supporting and enhanced), and Business Supporters Group membership.

As a member, you’ll join a strong network of organisations driven to make a difference and enjoy a number of benefits including:

Networking and partnership opportunities

Our members work with organisations across the country to share ideas, solve challenges and celebrate progress. They receive invitations to all our events, including our regional Fuel Poverty Forums, and we always prioritise them when planning partnership activities.

Exclusive access to our sector-leading analysis

We provide expert insight, clear briefings and engaging events on key government, public health and energy market developments. Members receive our quarterly Fuel Poverty Focus magazine and monthly e‑newsletter, keeping them updated from national policy to local action.

Help shape our policy responses and advocacy efforts

National Energy Action is a fiercely independent charity, but we are determined to leverage the insights and experiences of our members to achieve the best possible outcomes for people experiencing fuel poverty.
