PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prize Draw
1. PROMOTER

2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Entry to the prize draw is open to all attendees of the charity workshop who sign the attendance register.
2.2 Employees, volunteers, and trustees of National Energy Action and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
2.4 By signing the register, attendees automatically consent to entry into the prize draw.
3. ENTRY
3.1 Entry is automatic upon signing the workshop attendance register.
3.2 No purchase is necessary to enter.
3.3 Only one entry per person is permitted.
3.4 Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
4. PRIZE
4.1 The prize for the Energy Saving Draw will be one energy-saving appliance, which may include but is not limited to:
• Heated clothes airer/rail
• Air fryer
• Slow cooker
The prize for the Training and Education draw will be a £100 voucher.
4.2 The specific prize will be determined by the charity and announced at the time of the draw.
4.3 The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
4.4 There is no cash alternative to the prize.
4.5 The charity reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
5. THE DRAW
5.1 The draw will take place no later than three months after the event.
5.2 The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
5.3 The draw will be conducted fairly and in accordance with these terms and conditions.
5.4 The charity’s decision regarding all aspects of the prize draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION
6.1 The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within five working days of the draw.
6.2 If the winner cannot be contacted within 10 working days of the initial notification attempt, the charity reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6.3 The winner must claim their prize within one month of notification.
6.4 The winner’s name may be announced at the workshop and/or published on the charity’s website and social media channels.
7. PRIZE COLLECTION
7.1 The prize will be delivered to the winner’s address or alternative arrangements will be made for delivery.
7.2 The winner is responsible for collecting the prize or arranging delivery at a mutually convenient time.
7.3 Prizes not collected within one month will be forfeited.
8. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY (GDPR STATEMENT)
8.1 By signing the attendance register and entering this prize draw, you agree to National Energy Action processing your personal data for the purposes of administering the prize draw.
8.2 The personal information collected includes:
• Name
• Contact details (telephone number and/or email address)
• Any other information provided on the attendance register
8.3 Your personal data will be:
• Used solely for the administration of this prize draw and the charity’s charitable activities
• Stored securely on the charity database (AdvicePro)
• Not shared with any third parties without your explicit consent
• Retained in accordance with the charity’s data retention policy
8.4 You have the right to:
• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of your personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
9.1 The charity accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or cannot be delivered for any reason.
9.2 The charity reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
9.3 The charity reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached these terms and conditions.
9.4 The charity accepts no liability for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by any entrant entering the prize draw or as a result of accepting the prize.
9.5 Insofar as permitted by law, the charity will not be liable for any failure to comply with these terms and conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9.6 The charity reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the prize draw if circumstances arise outside of its control.
10. PUBLICITY
10.1 By entering the prize draw, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity related to the prize draw, including the use of their name and photograph.
10.2 If you do not wish to participate in publicity, please notify the charity at the time of claiming your prize.
11. GOVERNING LAW
11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes arising from the prize draw will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
12.1 By signing the attendance register, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
