Join us this year for National Energy Action’s Walk for Warmth on 21 February 2026! This family-fun event is dedicated to raising awareness and life-changing funds to tackle fuel poverty across the UK. Whether you’re joining one of our guided walks in Newcastle or London, or hosting your own walk in your local area – get together with friends, family and colleagues and join TeamNEA to Walk for Warmth!
We are walking together to:
- Raise vital funds to keep people in desperate need warm in their own home
- Raise awareness about our vital work and services
Details for our Newcastle walk:
Starting at One Strawberry Lane, walking up to and through the glorious Exhibition Park and Leazes Park, rounding at St James Park, before finishing up with a hot drink and some tasty snacks at the end.

Unfortunately the London guided Walk for Warmth has been cancelled, but you can still host your own and invite friends and family to take part.
Every step we take together is a step towards providing warmth for the millions of households suffering in cold, unsafe and unhealthy homes. in February, and any location – whatever is best for you! We will send out a pack with everything you need to help you host a hassle-free walk, and make it a day to remember.
