For the 6 million children living in fuel poverty, this summer won’t be filled with summer trips and carefree memories. Instead, families across the UK will struggle to cover basic energy costs, even in the summer.
Over the school holidays there are more mouths to feed, clothes to wash and fans to run. Parents are trying their best to make ends meet, but a rise in energy bills can be the difference between coping and crisis.
