Publication of Utility Regulator Compliance and Enforcement Annual Report Consultation

NEA NI supports the Utility Regulator’s proposal to publish a Compliance and Enforcement Annual Report.

Our response agrees that the report should bring together both routine and annual compliance data, to provide a more complete picture of regulatory oversight throughout the year.

Our response also emphasises that the report’s value will be maximised where it demonstrates not only regulatory activity, but also how that activity delivers improved outcomes for consumers, particularly those in vulnerable circumstances and households experiencing fuel poverty.
