Our Fuel Poverty Awareness Day

How you can get involved

Fuel Poverty Awareness Day 2026

On Wednesday 18 November 2026, National Energy Action’s Fuel Poverty Awareness Day will shine a light on the scale and impact of fuel poverty on children and their health now and throughout their lives.

Help us raise awareness of fuel poverty and take action to support people and families struggling with their energy bills.

Fuel Poverty Awareness Day is an opportunity to come together and shine a light on the reality of living in cold, unsafe and unhealthy homes across the UK.

Right now, over six million children are living in fuel poverty. No child should have to grow up in a cold home. Yet, families struggling with high energy costs are facing impossible situations to try and keep their homes warm, keep food on the table and pay for other essentials.

By getting involved, you can help raise awareness of fuel poverty, start conversations and support National Energy Action as we work towards a future where everyone can afford the energy they need to stay warm and safe.

There are lots of ways you can get involved.
