The Impact of Fuel Poverty on Children and Education
Funded training for school staff and educators in the North West and East Midlands of England as part of the Warm Start, Healthy Futures programme.
Fuel poverty can have a significant impact on a child’s health, wellbeing, school attendance, attainment, and future opportunities. This practical and thought-provoking CPD session is designed for teachers, school leaders, safeguarding professionals, pastoral staff, and wider education practitioners who want to better understand the challenges faced by children and families experiencing fuel poverty.
Drawing on the latest research, educator insights, and lived experiences, this webinar explores how living in a cold home can affect learning, behaviour, mental health, attendance, and educational outcomes.
