Offshore Renewable Energy Action Plan (OREAP) Consultation

NEA NI supports the development of offshore renewable energy (ORE) as a step towards a cleaner and more secure energy system. However, our response raises concerns about the risk of upfront investment costs being passed on to consumers, and the impacts for those already experiencing financial pressures. We emphasise the need for a fair distribution of costs and protection for on the lowest incomes.
