Fuel Poverty Forums (registration opening soon)
The autumn round of fuel poverty forums will be taking place during September and October 2026.
The forums are aimed at frontline service providers across England and Wales to examine practical and policy initiatives related to fuel poverty, and the delivery of energy efficiency solutions at a local, regional, and national level. They will provide an opportunity to come together to discuss related issues and share insights gained from supporting householders.
Attendance is free and lunch will be provided at our Fuel Poverty Forums. Numbers are limited and are offered at a maximum of two places per organisation per forum. NEA members will be given priority booking.

Free spotlight training sessions
During this round of forums a trainer from National Energy Action will deliver a one‑hour spotlight session on either the Priority Services Register (PSR) or Energy Scam Awareness: Practical support for advisers. All participants are encouraged to stay for these practical and informative sessions.
- Priority Services Register (PSR) (North East, Yorkshire & Humber)
This spotlight will cover what the PSR is, who it supports and why it is essential for protecting vulnerable customers during outages, cold weather or service disruptions. Attendees will gain clear insight into eligibility, the support available, and how frontline staff can recognise vulnerability, hold supportive conversations and ensure customers are effectively referred. Real‑life scenarios will be used to build confidence and highlight best practice.
- Energy Scam Awareness: Practical support for advisers (East Midlands, London, North West, South East, West Midlands)
This spotlight provides advisers with the knowledge, awareness and practical tools needed to identify, prevent and respond to energy‑related scams, helping them support clients effectively and reduce the risk of individuals becoming victims.
There are no training sessions planned for the Eastern or South West forums.
