DEVELOPING BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS WITH NEA

NEA works extensively with the private sector, particularly within the energy industry and offers a variety of opportunities to develop partnerships with businesses.

For every £1 NEA receives from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, NEA needs to raise £4 from other sources in order to implement programmes of work to help solve the problem of fuel poverty.

In particular, sponsorship assists NEA to:

  • Pilot new, innovative approaches to tackling fuel poverty through local demonstration projects;
  • Promote the benefits of energy efficiency through events, publications and major national campaigns;
  • Research, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives to tackle fuel poverty.

NEA can offer a range of benefits to sponsors of our work, including: company logos featured on associated publications and external information; the chance to speak at major national events and to network with representatives from local and central government, other private sector companies and voluntary groups.

Further details of sponsorship proposals and how you can help support NEA are available from Helen Walker, Fundraising and Sponsorship Manager, NEA, St Andrews House, 90-92 Pilgrim Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6SG.
