The 2.5 hour webinar is designed to provide a basic introduction to domestic energy efficiency for frontline staff providing householders with energy efficiency advice. It aims to make delegates aware of how householders can reduce the impact of the energy price rises by using their energy more efficiently, limiting waste, whilst maintaining a warm and comfortable home.

- Top tips for reducing energy use
- Heat loss in the home and how to reduce it
- Health impacts of living in a cold, damp home
- Sources of advice and assistance in Northern Ireland
Course Delivery Options:
- Webinar – Training will be delivered live via Zoom (video conferencing facility)
- Face to face option is available.
Following the webinar, learners will also receive a booklet covering the course topics.
Some FULLY FUNDED PLACES are available, supported by the Public Health Agency, to non-commercial organisations such as local health, housing, Voluntary & Community and advice agency staff etc. Learners must be frontline staff or volunteers that encounter and provide advice to those in or at risk of fuel poverty.
