Northern Exposure Research Launch – “Alleviating Fuel Poverty in North & West Belfast”
Through our Northern Exposure project, which is funded by the Public Health Agency, NEA NI commissioned Professor Christine Liddell of the University of Ulster to undertake research into the impact of fuel poverty and energy efficiency interventions on the health and well-being of householders in North & West Belfast.
The launch of this research was held on Wednesday 20th March 2013 at Ulster University, Jordanstown Campus.
The research also includes the trial of some innovative technologies and how they could contribute to tackling fuel poverty. The findings of this research are significantly important when considering future interventions and care for those living in fuel poverty.
