FUEL POVERTY CONFERENCE 2019

Tackling Fuel Poverty & Inequality: The Road Ahead

14 February 2019, Sophia Gardens (Glamorgan County Cricket Club), Cardiff

NEA Cymru, in partnership with SSE is pleased to invite you to join us for our annual fuel poverty conference taking place at Sophia Gardens (Glamorgan County Cricket Club) on Thursday 14 February 2019.

The conference is the only one of its kind in Wales dedicated to examining the myriad of changes to policy and its resultant implications for those least able to afford to heat their homes.

This year’s conference entitled ‘Tackling fuel poverty and inequality: the road ahead’ will look at the changes to policy and programmes including energy prices and price caps; household income; and energy efficiency programmes.  The conference will also consider the drive to reduce household carbon emissions – how can we ensure it is fair and equitable to those least able to pay?

  • debate and influence the fuel poverty policy agenda in Wales
  • be better informed on the latest fuel poverty policies and programmes and implications for your clients
