£20,852-£25,418 (Scale 4-5, Points 7-17)

National Energy Action (NEA), the national fuel poverty and energy efficiency charity, is recruiting for a WASH (Warm and Safe Homes) Advice Line Coordinator to work from our office in Newcastle upon Tyne office.
NEA aims to eradicate fuel poverty and promote energy efficiency to low-income and other vulnerable households through working in partnership with central and local government, fuel utilities, the health sector, consumer groups and NGOs.
NEA delivers energy advice and support directly to householders via our Warm and Safe Homes (WASH) helpline. WASH Advice Line Coordinators will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders who are contacting the charity for a range of energy-related advice matters. Coordinators will need to be empathetic, polite and have good listening skills.
While call centre or customer service experience will be advantageous, empathy and an ability to understand client needs are paramount and our training will give successful candidates the knowledge to succeed in the role
NEA is looking to appoint a WASH Advice Line Co-ordinator post based at our head office in Newcastle Upon Tyne, though staff are continuing to work from home temporarily. This is one year fixed term full time (37 hours per week) post.
