Tackling the Energy Crisis Together

NEA Annual Conference
and Exhibition

19-21 September 2022, Birmingham

On Monday 19 to Wednesday 21 September 2022 National Energy Action (NEA) will return to an in-person Annual Conference, held at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham Hill Street.

Our Conference has never been needed more. The unprecedented energy crisis means 6.5 million UK households are now in fuel poverty. That’s one in four.

We will come together with industry, voluntary organisations, government, policy-makers and other stakeholders. And, we will stand together to tackle unprecedented energy price increases alongside the wider cost-of-living implications.

What to expect at our Birmingham Conference

Join us from Monday evening to Wednesday lunchtime to focus on how to support fuel poor households through the energy crisis. We are currently developing the Birmingham Conference programme, but we will cover themes around the impacts of lower incomes and higher prices and an impending debt time-bomb.

Also, we will explore the consequences of inaction at this point, lived experience of those affected and helped, as well as policy development, energy efficiency measures alongside practical delivery outcomes on the ground and best practices.

Additionally, during our Annual Conference, there will be an exhibition, showcasing our Business Supporters Group members and their services.

We hope to see you in Birmingham.
