Over the coming year NEA will be working with a range of partners and funders to implement projects that will inform and influence policy development and provide advice and practical support to those trying to tackle fuel poverty at a local level. This work will help us meet our core aim of ensuring that everyone in the UK can afford to meet their energy needs in the home, sufficient for good health, comfort and well being.
- Increasing strategic action against fuel poverty
- To develop and progress solutions to improve energy efficiency in UK households
- To influence voluntary and regulatory social programmes within the energy sector
- To enhance knowledge and understanding of energy efficiency and fuel poverty
- Improving access to advice, energy efficiency improvements and related services to UK households
