For over 30 years the national fuel poverty charity National Energy Action (NEA) has offered an extensive range of qualifications, training courses and educational resources to cover key issues associated with fuel poverty, fuel debt, affordable warmth and delivering practical energy efficiency advice.
In recent years we have developed a range of City & Guilds qualifications (level 1 through to level 3) as well as a number of CPD-certified half-day and one-day courses and e-learning packages. Courses can also be tailored to meet the specific needs of an organisation.
Our most popular course is the City & Guilds-accredited Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness 6281-01 (previously 6176-01) which 25,000 delegates have taken since its inception in 1990.
All training meets the ISO 9001 quality standards.
In 2013 NEA received the Ashden Award for Training and Capacity Building, recognising our excellence in training in energy awareness and energy efficiency advice, and for our leading role in professionalising the energy advice sector.
In the same year we also received a Green Apple Award for our educational work.Published on 03-03-2016
