The Nation’s Biggest Housewarming

Friday, 17 February 2017

NEA is running The Nation’s Biggest Housewarming on Friday 17 February to coincide with Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, a nationally recognised day to promote the issue of fuel poverty and the importance of ensuring vulnerable people are warm in their homes.

Join us in organising a housewarming event by baking sweet and savoury treats to sell to your family, friends or colleagues and then donate the money you’ve raised to NEA!

The more inventive and original the better, with last year’s fundraising efforts ranging from an office ‘Great British Bake Off’ competition to community tea dances and even a stay cosy by wearing your onesie to work day!

The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of fuel poverty whilst also raising money to enable NEA to deliver community projects and continue to campaign to help the 4.5 million UK households currently suffering the effects of fuel poverty, unable to live in a warm, dry home.
