Spotlight on Fuel Poverty

In 2007-08 NEA, with funding from Defra, organised a series of seminars entitled SEE the Impact - the social, environmental and economic impacts of fuel poverty.

In 2008-09 NEA will build upon the success of these events to further demonstrate fuel poverty as a cross-cutting theme that can contribute to other Government commitments to provide safe, healthy, sustainable communities and help eradicate poverty in the UK.

The seminars will be of interest to managers, officers and elected members from local authorities and representatives from regional and local agencies with an interest in addressing each of these agendas.

The programme, entitled "Spotlight on Fuel Poverty" is funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and ScottishPower and will run from October 2008 to March 2009.

Seminar dates are below. For further information, or to register your attendance please contact Brian Hart.

After the seminar has taken place the presentations will be available here for attendees to download.  These presentations will be password protected and attendees will be emailed with details of the password.  Please contact Brian Hart if you need to be reminded of the password.
