Community Action Partnership
The Community Action Partnership is a £1.2 million programme delivered by NEA and British Gas, in partnership with councils across the UK.
It is running from April 2014-March 2016 and will help to bring affordable energy and improve the lives and prosperity or residents, equipping the local community with the tools they need to deal with fuel poverty in the future.
Activities will be focused in eight key geographical areas across England and Wales, and tailored according to the needs of that community. The eight key areas are Cardiff, Enfield, Barking and Dagenham, Liverpool, Manchester, Northamptonshire, Walsall and Warm Up North.
British Gas and the Department of Energy and Climate Change are also supporting NEA’s Community Action Awards which recognise and reward best practice in tackling fuel poverty.
For further information on activities planned in each area please follow the links to the left or contact Lorraine Donaldson.
