COMPLETED In 2016/17, NEA rolled out the Warm Minds project in seven areas across England and Wales to help those living with mental health issues, dementia, learning disability and learning difficulties, to better manage their energy needs and to achieve warmer, more energy efficient homes.
COMPLETED The Energy Advice Support Service is six month pilot project (July-December 2016) which is engaging with community sector agencies to offer a range of energy awareness and energy advice services to their service users.
COMPLETED Supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, NEA worked with eight communities to deliver a concentrated range of activities to raise awareness of the issue, galvanise activity at a local level and enhance capacity.
COMPLETED NEA NI was part of the team led by the University of Ulster that took part in the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation smart meter trial that addressed the need for more research into the impact of smart meters on vulnerable households.
