By becoming a member you will be entitled to the following benefits:
- discount on training courses, publications and conference fees (state you are a member when making the request for any of these services and quote your membership number)
- FREE subscriptions to Energy Action, NEA's journal published three times a year and NEA Today magazine (you should be receiving these as a matter of course - if you are not please let us know).
- FREE monthly members' email newsletter giving you the most up-to-date information on fuel poverty policy, research, projects and events (if you have given your email address you should again be receiving these as a matter of course).
- Access to information on excess winter mortality and estimated fuel poverty figures for local authority districts and wards. (Contact us with details of the area you want figures for and your request will be passed on to our research team).
- Access to the members area of the NEA website (you should receive log-in details with your membership certificate).
- Invitation to NEA's annual reception for members in the House of Commons.
- Invitations to NEA's regional seminars and Fuel Poverty Forums.
As a member of NEA you will receive information that could help to bring social, economic, employment and environmental benefits to local communities.
Categories of membership
- Full membership is open to registered charities, voluntary organisations and not-for-profit organisations.
- Associate membership is open to all other organisations including local authorities.
Please note that only Full members can vote at NEA's Annual General Meeting.

* Lower rate is open to small community and voluntary groups with a turnover less than £250,000 per annum. Standard rate applies to all other organisations. Only voluntary and not-for-profit organisations have voting rights at NEA's annual general meeting.
