This series will focus on the issue of child poverty in the wake of the Child Poverty Bill.
The seminars will be of interest to all managers, officers and elected members from local authorities with an interest in fuel poverty and child poverty, both at a policy and practical delivery level. It will also be of particular value to Directors of Children's Trusts, Common Assessment Framework Co-ordinators, Local Strategic Partnership representatives, Sure Start Co-ordinators and representatives from regional and local agencies with an interest in addressing these agendas.
The programme is funded by DECC and EDF Energy and will run from November 2009-March 2010.
There is no charge for attendance. Events will commence with registration at 9.00am and finish with lunch at 1.00pm. To reserve a place please email Brian Hart stating which regional event you wish to attend; your full contact details and any dietary or facility requirements.

Thank you to those who attended and participated in our 'Keeping the Spotlight on Fuel Poverty' seminar series which was supported by EDF Energy and the Department of Energy and Climate Change. The series was a success and we have already secured funding for next years seminars which will be taking place between January and March next year.
