Heat Heroes Recognition Award Scheme

Heat Heroes Recognition Award SchemeHeat Hero

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS NOW FRIDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2011

To celebrate NEA's 30th Anniversary NEA is launching the Heat Heroes Award Scheme sponsored by ScottishPower, to recognise individuals who have made a significant contribution to helping people living in fuel poverty in their local community, either at work or in volunteer activities outside the workplace.

If you know of a colleague or a contact in the fuel poverty field who you feel has ‘gone above and beyond' what would be expected of them in the course of their work or as a volunteer then please fill in the entry form below and attach with a submission of no more than 500 words outlining:

  • How they have helped people living in fuel poverty
  • Why you think the individual deserves to win

The award scheme is open to not for profit organisations including local authorities, health and social care agencies, voluntary and statutory agencies and community groups.

Entries will be judged by a panel of representatives from NEA and ScottishPower and ten winners will be awarded and invited to receive a certificate at the Heat Heroes Award Ceremony.
