Community Footprint Award 2011-12

Now open the NEA Community Footprint Award 2011-12 in association with DECC and British Gas

The Community Footprint Award aims to reward projects throughout England which demonstrate best practice in the field of fuel poverty and carbon savings.

Held jointly with the Department of Energy and Climate Change and sponsored by British Gas, entries are accepted from all not-for-profit groups and organisations.

One organisation in each of the nine regions across England will receive an award of £2,000 to help deliver or develop their initiative.

Each of the regional winners will then be judged for the national award which will provide an additional prize of £3,000 to further develop their project or to demonstrate the findings of their initiative to a wider
audience.

Regional and national winners in each category can also make reference to the Community Footprint Award in promotional literature. A certificate and a copy of the logo will be sent to the winners.

The awards are now open to applicants and will close on 9 December 2011.
