Electrical generation

By using a renewable or micro-generation system that generates electricity we can benefit in two ways, either reducing our household energy consumption or from selling the power generated back to the fuel utilities, as renewable energy with the government's announcement of feed-in tariffs. There are a number of systems that are already available on the market and products that are now being developed and trialled. These range from solar photovoltaic's to fuel cells. NEA is planning to run pilot trials with manufacturers to evaluate the cost savings from these systems in existing dwellings.
