Energy Awareness 6281-01 (previously 6176-01) - 3-Day Course
For those involved generally with fuel poverty and providing energy advice in the home. This is our most popular training course reaching around 16,000 people and leading to the nationally acclaimed City & Guilds 6281-01 examination. Renewable Energy in the Home 6281-02 (previously 6176-02) - 2-day Course
This two day course is designed to increase the knowledge and understanding of energy advisors on renewable and low carbon technologies as realistic interventions to reduce fuel poverty. Covering technologies such as: Solar Thermal Hot Water, Heat Pumps, Biomass, Solar Photovoltaics, Micro and Small Wind, Micro-hydro, Micro-CHP and Fuel Cells and CO2 Emmissions. Home and Community Energy Adviser (HEA) Training and Qualification.
NEA is developing new training leading to a qualication for Home and Community Energy Advisers that will meet the revised National Occupational Standards which are expected to be available from March 2011. This qualification will enable individuals to become accredited and fully able to work under the Green Deal scheme when intrduced in late 2012. For further details click here
